Breast MRI

1. University of California San Francisco breast MRI site Breast MRI uses large magnets to image the breast. It is an expensive test that is mostly still investigational and does not detect everything detected by mammography. It can, though, be helpful for women with dense breasts, known cancers, implants or lumps that will be biopsies.
